Fact vs Thoughts

I wanted to share a sentiment that may help when you're thinking about things related to your phone.
Often, we think certain things about ourselves and deem them as truth. But most of the time our thoughts are not the truth for everyone else.
Differentiating between Fact and Thought are a big way to feel better when using your phone and all the apps that make you feel anxious.
Take this example: what is the difference between:
"I don't have enough followers"
and
“I have 58 followers”
"I don't have enough followers" is a thought. How is 'enough' defined? Who decides? You.
"I have 58 followers" is a fact. You can see the number, you can see the followers, everyone can agree on that.
Enough is not definable except by the person who is saying it.
Someone could think 58 is a lot of followers.
Someone else could think 58 is not a lot or not enough.
Notice the difference and how each statement makes you feel. Turning your thoughts more neutral can allow you to find peace and clear on how you want to think, feel and act to move forward with your goals.
