We’ll go through:
How we stand and sit now using smartphones and computers all day
Stretching your shoulders, chest, neck, back and face and hands
Easy ways to realign your neck and spine
Change your mindset around you smartphone use (and how to use it less)
Guided hand massages
Meditation and grounding practices
Breathing to reduce anxiety
Unlike a traditional flow class, we won’t be doing sun salutations or up-dogs.
Each class will be slightly different, yet follow the same format starting with guided breathing, meditation, body awareness, and stretching different parts of the body. This class is tailored to focus on the parts of the body most affected by sitting, computer use and smartphone use. We will get on and off the floor, and do different exercises to strengthen and stretch the spine, neck, arms and face.
This is for everyone who is able to move around and do simple yoga poses. We will be laying on the floor and moving around a little bit.
You won’t work up too much of a sweat, but please wear clothes you can move around in. Have a mat or towel to lay on, water and don’t wear shoes to class.

Come back to these classes whenever you need to. As you do these exercises, please pay attention and listen to you body for how you feel. If you feel faint, dizzy, or pain come out of the pose immediately.
