The scrolling struggle is real…

Let’s fix it!

You know social media is addicting.

You’ve read the articles. You’ve seen the documentaries.

But you have fun with it. You like shopping and playing games and staying connected with people, especially being so isolated during COVID.

You feel like you NEED your phone at all times.

But do you really?

Or do you continue to scroll and scroll and scroll just because it’s there?

The connections we make through our phones, social media, or texting can feel exciting but they can actually make us feel less connected and more isolated.

You know your phone is taking time away from what you really want to be doing, but you don’t know how to stop.

And you don’t want to get rid of your phone.

It’s a powerful tool. It keeps us connected in useful ways too.

So even though you feel:

  • Overwhelmed, foggy-brained, and anxious

  • Unable to make decisions

  • Like you aren’t smart enough or not doing enough

  • Like you need to appear a certain way or you won’t be liked

  • That you don’t know what you truly want in your life

  • Disconnected with the people around you

You CAN feel:

  • Clear-headed and calm

  • Able to make well-informed decisions for your life

  • Smart enough and even if you aren’t doing enough, who cares

  • At peace with the way you are now

  • Confident with what you want for yourself, independent of others opinions

  • Connected with your loved ones

All this will come from having the ability to use your phone on YOUR time.

You want to use your phone less, but don't know where to start so that you can ACTUALLY break this habit.

You CAN take your autonomy back.

You can overcome your social media scroll controlling your life.

You can overcome your notifications dictating the direction of your day.

You can take time to rest and unplug.

You can take back your focus and your relationships.

You can feel empowered and be a part of your community that makes real change you want to see in the world.

Take control of the scroll.

I used to think the best job ever would be Social Media Manager.

I could scroll around on Facebook and Instagram all day?! Yes please, sign me up!

And then, one day I got what I wished for. I got a part-time gig as a Social Media Manager.

Dream job, right?

Wrong.

I was on social media all the time. I couldn’t focus on anything else. I spent hours creating posts and captions and then posting and watching for comments and likes. And I was always worried about the likes my pages were getting.

I took my post engagements on social media for my own self-worth.

My background as a social media manager has shown me how our phones have changed our global society.

Being a practitioner and instructor of yoga for 10+ years and realizing my own thoughts and feelings around social media has shown me how we can take back control of our lives and live meaningful, well-intentioned, loving lives with each other.

Through my work advocating for more intentional phone use, I help empower Millennials and Gen Z-ers to create real changes in their lives and the world around them, to understand their role in the world, and to create a more compassionate, environmentally and socially conscious community.

THE SLOW TECH REVOLUTION

Through this four-week program, we will re-evaluate and take actionable steps to take back control from social media and time on your smartphone.

Together, we’ll take a closer look at your personal and professional phone use, evaluate how you actually want to use your phone as a tool, and make actionable steps to get there so you can maintain your long-term goals.

At the end of this program, you’ll get the tools and accountability to take back your time and power from your smartphone. You will be able to make intentional choices on your phone use, take empowered action with your time, and gain more clarity on who you are and what you want.

In four weeks, you’ll be the boss of your phone - not the other way around!

In effect, you’ll be better rested, more focused, and connect more meaningfully with your loved ones.

I incorporate yoga, meditation, and music to walk us through this process. And at the core of each lesson is compassion and empowerment. You have to know where you are now to move forward to where you want to be. I promise I won’t judge you on how much you use your phone and I won’t let you judge yourself either.

Imagine a world where you are feeling more focused, close to the people around you, well rested and connected to your real life. A day in your life with control over mindless scrolling.

This four-week program includes:

  • A group of up to four other people to learn from and empower each other

  • Weekly PDF writing assignments to get clear on how YOU want to spend YOUR time

  • Weekly one-hour video workshops to change your mindset and take action

  • One follow up video call to avoid falling down the rabbit hole of social media

  • Private Discord group to connect with other like-minded people, and share successes/setbacks

  • A letter writing pen pal chain to form slow, non-urgent communication connections
